Your Book is Your Business is the blog belonging to Your Book is Your Business PR, Inc started by me, Lyn Cadence, to address the needs of my author clients. I also believe that publishing a book is an important way to supercharge your business by establishing yourself as a recognized and trusted expert in your field. I have an undergraduate minor in Communications, Publishing from Simon Fraser University, where I also took many extended studies courses in publishing.

Since then, I`ve worked in the book publishing industry for twenty years - as a publicist at Raincoast Books, publicity and marketing director at Key Porter Books, and promotions director at Fifth House Publishers. Authors included politicians, non-profit organizations, businesses, children’s book authors, how-to authors, bankers, lawyers, psychologists, historians, academics, poets, cookbook authors, and more.
